Here is a photograph of my back garden and decking taken yesterday.  We have had around 7-8" of snow over the past couple of days making any trips out a nightmare. Today the table on the decking shows the true depth of the snow.

This is early for snow - normally we would expect it around January - looks like this will be a long winter. 

I spent many hours last night finishing a top I wanted to wear tonight at a special work dinner which I can't get to now.   Still nice to be stuck in the house rather than travelling for work so will be able to do some more sewing later.
